Can you play fiddle music with a violin bridge?

I currently play the violin, and this year, I'm taking part in this music festival in St. George, Utah. Well, the problem is is that it's fiddle, and I don't know how to read the fiddle music. Also, I was wondering if I can play the music with the violin bridge. Would it be possible, or would I have to use the actual fiddle bridge? Please let me know ASAP, as I'm play on july 23.
