Does it seem that the quality of sims stories has decreased?

before the sims 3, i enjoyed reading lots of the sims 2 stories on the sims 2.com made by other players. When I looked up stories on the sims 3, they were all poorly written and didn't have interesting stories like it did on thesims2.com. does anyone else feel this way?
